What is W.A.I.T. Training?
- A directive character education program that imparts relationship skills to students from seventh grade to twelfth grade;
- has been well received by high-risk student groups;
- has changed student activities about early sexual involvement;
- and is not sex education, but love education.

** Character-based sexuality education provides opportunities for students in their earliest years to develop character traits as respect for self and others, responsibility, honesty, self-discipline, self-control, integrity, fairness, courage, etc.

Methodologies Used in W.A.I.T. Training
- For the Community - Program philosophies are offered in the context of local community norms and traditions.
- For the School - This program can be adapted to and is suitable for both middle school and high school students. Can be taught in a 2 to 3 hour format or in four 45 minute classes.
- Also Available: Teens and STD/HIV: How these diseases are spread and the problems they may cause and how to prevent them. This presentation contains actual slides of STDs from the Medical Institute, as well as visuals.
The educator presenting these programs is nationally certified and college accredited in Abstinence / HIV Training and teaches the W.A.I.T. Training Curriculum.
